The story reveals the journey of a 5 year old girl in India who was born with a cleft lip into a life of poverty and isolation. Her life transformed and inspired millions. The hope of this child brings her to Pankaj, a social worker who travels from one village to another to help patients and provide free surgery each year. The “real world fairy tale follows its wide-eyed protagonist on a journey from isolation to embrace.”
